Ailsa - Master Stylist & Owner
Ailsa has been a licensed hair stylist since 2001, however, she started working in a salon when she was 13. Ailsa is originally from England but moved to Canada in 2003. Upon her arrival, on Canadian soil, she continued working as a top stylist in Kamloops, BC and then moved to Prince George in 2017.
Ailsa has taken so much education she has lost count. Most of her training has been with Redken, Kevin Murphy & Goldwell. Ailsa has also travelled to New York, and Las Vegas, to work on some amazing editorial shoots. She loves doing special occasion hair, avant-garde hair for fashion shoots, and don't get us started on her redheads ... she is an amazing colourist!
After spending time in Ailsa's chair you will leave the salon looking like a Queen! Not only is she a master with hair but her calm, yet playful, demeanor is a pleasure to be around.
Kjirsten ~ Master Stylist
Kjirsten is a distinguished Master Hair Stylist with an impressive career spanning 25 years. Over the course of her journey, Kjirsten has cultivated a deep passion for the art, and science, of hair combining her creativity with meticulous technical expertise. Her extensive training in advanced colouring techniques sets her apart as a true expert in transforming hair with vibrant hues, seamless blends, and striking highlights. Whether it's crafting bold, statement-making, shades or achieving natural, sun-kissed effects, Kjirsten's proficiency ensures stunning results tailored to each client's unique style and personality.
I addition to her colouring mastery, Kjirsten is also highly skilled in precision hair cutting, demonstrating an innate ability to shape, and sculpt, hair to perfection. Her dedication to ongoing education, and staying updated with the latest trends, has earned her a reputation for delivering versatile, and fashion-forward, looks. Kjirsten's commitment to her craft shines through in her personalized approach, making every client feel valued, and confident, as they leave her chair. Her decades of experience, and passion for hairstyling, have established Kjirsten as a trusted professional who elevates beauty with every cut, colour, and style.
Lyndsey ~ Master Stylist (Currently On Maternity Leave)
Lyndsey is a talented, creative, and detail oriented Red Seal Master Stylist with 12 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. She has exhibited an incredible passion for ongoing learning, and self growth, having obtained certifications in both hair and aesthetic services. As a result of Lyndsey's hard work she is skilled in a full range range of hair, nail, and lash services.
For the past decade Lyndsey has shared her knowledge, and passion, for the beauty industry as an instructor, and mentor, to future beauty specialists. Her favourite hair services are extensions, fashion colour, and short bobs.
On the home front Lyndsey loves spending time with her husband and family, has a passion for fashion, going thrifting, and hiking adventures.
She has a bubbly personality and immediately makes you feel welcome. After just a few minutes in her chair you will feel like you have known her for years!
Emily - Apprentice / Jr Stylist
Before I found hair, I struggled to settle on a career path. The one thing I knew for certain was that being creative gives me purpose. I’ve always been drawn to fashion, makeup, and hair.
I graduated from John Casablanca Institute, in Vancouver BC, in January 2025 with a diploma in Hair Art Design. To me, hair is one of the best ways to express yourself. Whether it’s fun colours, crazy layers, or a basic cut, it’s so rewarding to help people bring their hair visions to life and help express their individuality through colour and style.
I gravitate toward vibrant, unique colours that you don’t see every day. I love creating looks that catch your eye and make your jaw drop.
Outside the salon, I make music and am always hunting for something new to listen to, play video games, and have fun with makeup and clothes. I also have two cats: Remy, a sweet five year old tabby, and Opal, my two year old tortoiseshell with two extra toes on each foot.
